See you in Brighton!

After the excitement of the fantastic start of the Ellen MacArthur Trust Skandia Round Britain Voyage of Discovery from Cowes on Sunday, I am really looking forward to tomorrow. Not only will I be visiting the Musto store in Market Street in Brighton between 3 and 4.30 p.m., but I will also be giving my first public speech for ages at the Brighton Hilton Metropole at 6.30 p.m.. Apparently loads of you have already bought tickets - thank you! - but there are still a few left, so visit

for further details. And if you can’t make this talk, hope to see you somewhere else en route!

Hi Ellen, I attended your talk earlier. It was very good and very inspirational. I think you met my friend Dom, from the Falklands. We are studying Sustainability of the Built Environment MSc together. I am very interested in your next step, and perhaps being involved. I hope you get well soon! Liz

Hi Ellen,

Hope you’re feeling better now.

Brilliant talk in Brighton - entertaining and thought provoking. And you’ve now another new fan in my beloved too. We’re both really interested in your next challenge and the great work you are doing to raise awareness and promote action. You’ve inspired me to see what I can achieve with some focus, determination and by saving my dinner money! Kathy
